Animal Ally Message – Bear (Queen of Pentacles

image-5

 Hello Glorious Souls,

I hope and intend this blog finds you well, healthy and peaceful. Our animal ally this blog is Bear. They are also represented in The Ark Animal Tarot and Oracle Deck from Bernadette King as the Queen of Pentacles. I wholeheartedly agree with this interpretation, representation and connection in the tarot. Capricorn is connected with the Queen of Pentacles, as well as a little Sagittarius, and I feel this is fitting for Bear as well. Some key words for Capricorn and the Queen of Pentacles are: cautious, responsible, hardworking, conventional, economical and a great business sense. The Ark Animal Tarot uses the following words on the card: Earth Mother, Protector and Noble Soul. There is also a great abundance and boundary setting with her energy as well. Then you can throw in some Sagittarius energy for expansion and growth.

I also find it very interesting that my last name, Osborn, means ‘divine bear or bear god’ and that I have not been ‘drawn’ to bear much over my life.

Over the next week or so, keep an eye out for Bear. They may show up in many different forms. Be alert and see if they are calling you to work with them as either a spirit, power or totem animal at this time in life. Since first typing this blog and editing one final time, I had a cool encounter with bear. There is an app called Next Door. The headline was “my boyfriend just snapped this picture today”. I opened the dark picture and could tell what it was until I clicked on the picture to make bigger. It was a bear!!!! Definitely a spirit message for me.

  • Spirit Animal – If Bear shows up as a drive by spirit message, perhaps it’s time to stand up for yourself. Allow the courage within to rise to the occasion.
  • Totem Animal –  If your totem animal is bear, it may be a reminder to enjoy the wonderful and pleasurable things in life. Find the things that bring you joy and engage or re-engage in them.
  • Power Animal –  Perhaps at this time you are feeling vulnerable and weak or defenseless. Call upon bear for protection. Protection physically, mentally AND spiritually.
